EASA Certification for the Diamond DA50 RG

Diamond Aircraft’s new single engine flagship, the Diamond DA50 RG received an EASA certification recently. This new aircraft can carry up to four passengers and a pilot, which makes it a great new option for companies wanting to travel hassle-free, or for private individuals enjoying cross-country flying with friends.

The Diamond DA50 RG is a single engine piston with retractable gear. It has a twin-turbocharged, liquid-cooled 6-cylinder engine, which produces 300 hp of pure power! A powerful engine combined with a sleek design, modern materials, and retractable gear takes it to the next level of single engine piston aircraft. Diamond Aircraft has also taken the environmental aspect seriously: the fuel consumption is only 34 liters of jet fuel per hour at maximum range, which makes it very affordable to operate. The DA50 RG is equipped with a Garmin G1000 NXi avionic system and a 3-axis GFC700 autopilot, so the pilot workload is greatly reduced.

Aeropole is a sales representative for Diamond Aircraft Industries in Finland, and we are happy to help if you got interested – just contact us!
