Military Conversions

Are you looking to obtain a full EASA PPL or CPL licence based on your Finland military training? Aeropole has the required certification to provide you with the necessary supplemental training as well as ex-military pilots as instructors, capable of giving you exactly the package you need. Please note: crediting for military flight experience is available for experience gained in the Finnish Air Force only at this time.

For PPL: The required 1-day theory course is arranged on demand for any group of minimum 3 persons. Practical flight training part includes 5 hours of flight time on a basic trainer aircraft (e.g. DA20-C1/G500) and 15 h of instructor’s time. (See price list for this package.) For low-time pilots this may not be enough to fulfil the PPL requirements of 45 h, minimum 10 of which as PIC, of which minimum 5 h cross-country. (Additional hours will be billed separately, by the hour.)

For CPL: you will need to study on our ATPL theoretical training course and then obtain a multi-engine piston rating with IR privileges.

NB: As of early 2024, the use of the military conversion report has not been possible in Finland, i.e. all the above is on hold. Wait and see what future brings…
