G1000 (DA40-180) Seminar on Sat Dec 10th, 2011

Aeropole will arrange a ground seminar on Garmin 1000 EFIS and Diamond DA40-180 on Sat Dec 10th, 2011, 10-16 o’clock in the city centre. (Details updated 6-Dec-2011.)


The topics covered are essentially the same as in the old course structure (View the old Course Brochure) — the lessons are just more condensed.

Specifics of DA40-180: Lycoming IO-360 and constant speed propeller (OH-KAS) — quick overview
Focus on G1000: PFD and engine instruments; generalities, failures; MFD, navigation and useful functions.

The course will be held in Finnish or English as required. Written material (slides and handouts) is in English. The G1000 will further be demonstrated using a PC simulator.

Location: Korkeavuorenkatu 30 A (5th floor), 00130 Helsinki.
Attendance fee: 40 EUR (incl. VAT 23%) — payment on the spot or prepayment by invoice. (Aeropole PPL students can attend free of charge.)
