To support very effective learning in all the DA40NG, DA42-VI and DA62 cockpits, Diamond Simulation offers a very capable FNPT II device that is a truthful representation of the DA42-VI twin. The cockpit is a real DA42-VI cockpit with a real Garmin G1000, and as such very well in line with the DA40NG and DA62 cockpits also.
With the ability to pause simulation, to rerun the drills in focus, and with the possibility to practise things one could not practise in real aircraft (many “real” failures for example) the simulator provides an invaluable addition to any school’s or operator’s fleet. It can also more cost-effectively be used for learning the ins and outs of the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit.
We will of course help you in buying one. Depending on its future location, our Flight Training department can possibly generate revenue for you by buying hours on it.
